Short-Term Running Goals:
Qualify for Boston Marathon (Run a 2:55 marathon)
Run a sub 30 minute 8k
Be the 1st male athlete to run all 4 years at Dixie State University
Long-Term Running Goals:
Be a life-long runner
AM: I missed XC practice and ran 2 on my own. I think I am going to loose my big toe nail thanks to wearing flats in the Red Rock.
PM: Fun trail run out by the tortoise fence road.
AM: Grass Running
PM: 16 60 second intervals.
My achilles hurts so I ran on the grass instead on the road with the team.
AM: Grass Running.
PM: I was supposed to do a 4 mile tempo run then a 3 mile tempo run out towards the strip. I didn't run fast. I lacked energy and had cramps in the calves.
I keep getting new pains! My foot and achilles. Ran barefoot in grass because it feels better than with shoes on.
I ran out to the desert above Green Springs. I am having foot pains in my left foot, so I ended up jogging. It was a rough week. I need to recover and stretch well.
